‍MEITHEAL

We are pleased to invite expressions of interest in Meitheal, an Oide professional learning and support programme for established school principals who have been in the role for five years or more.

Meitheal offers principals the opportunity to work in a small, confidential group of 5–8 colleagues, supported by a trained facilitator. Using a coaching-informed approach, the programme provides space to discuss real leadership issues, reflect on professional practice, share experience and learn from the collective wisdom of other school leaders.

Participants have particularly valued the supportive and restorative nature of Meitheal and the opportunity to connect openly with colleagues who understand the realities and challenges of school leadership.

The programme runs over two years, with four sessions per year, each lasting approximately two hours. Dates and times are agreed by the members of each group.

If you are an experienced principal and would welcome a confidential, supportive space in which to reflect on your leadership and connect with colleagues, you can apply for the Meitheal programme using the link below.

‘Meitheal’ Application Form 26/27 / Foirm Iarratais le haghaidh Meitheal 26/27
