Irish Heart Foundation CPR 4 Schools

At the workshop teachers will complete the course that they in turn will be teaching to the students. The course is self explanatory and follows a practice while watching teaching method. 

 

During the session teachers will both practice the skills and be given guidance on how to facilitate this very simple programme. The workshop will take approx 2 hours and in this time we will complete the hands on portion of the course and then we will have time for questions and answers. 

 

As you will be practicing CPR and kneeling to do so we would suggest participants wear comfortable clothes. 

 

All resources to conduct the course will be stored online for teachers to access and any resources deemed necessary by teachers to conduct the course in their own schools will be provided. 

 

Please note : The kit which the school will receive, free of charge, comes at a cost of €500, therefore we need two teachers at least per school to ensure that the programme will be a success.
