Building Resilience - tools and strategies for teachers to use in the classroom and with individual students

Resilience is the ability to bounce back after difficulty or misfortune. With all the stresses, disappointments and weapons of mass distraction that are part of life in the modern world today - resilience is a key life skill. This workshop will give participants an understanding of what resilience is, and what builds it - and what weakens it. They will learn tools and strategies to boost personal resilience and to help students they are working with do the same.

Participants will learn about resilience and how to develop personal and professional resilience - the resilient mindset

They will learn How to Promote a Culture of Resilience within their classroom
