Discover how to get the most out of your SMART interactive whiteboard in the classroom.
We will take an in depth look at SMART Notebook discovering how to use the software’s built-in tools and backgrounds, inking, and gamification and assessment features. We will discuss practical ideas for how these tools can be implemented in the classroom to improve levels of engagement and participation and also reduce teacher planning and resource preparation time.
In this session we will look at using the OPS (Built-in board computer) and how to update and personalise your board. We will learn how to share and cast individual devices to your SMART board and use your device as a visualiser. We will also touch on Lumio; the online counterpart of SMART Technologies that allows you to work on presentations from anywhere and create active, collaborative learning experiences for students through the use of individual handouts, group workspaces and whole class pages that can be shared to student devices.
