Sensory Worlds & Communication Breakdowns: What’s Really Going On?

Sensory Worlds & Communication Breakdowns: What’s Really Going On?

Autistic children often absorb more from their environment—lights, sounds, smells, emotions—making communication challenging in busy or hostile spaces. This webinar explores the sensory load behind many so-called “behavioural” issues, highlighting how overload affects attention, regulation, and expression. You'll leave with tools to reduce sensory barriers and support meaningful communication, even in high-input environments like classrooms.
