Talkboost Key Stage 1 Training for Teachers

Talk Boost KS1 is a language intervention for 4-7 year olds, delivered by a trained special education teacher 3 times per week for 10 weeks, with linked whole class activities. It boosts the language and communication skills of children who have not had the opportunity to develop their language skills either through lack of good language models in their early years or because they are learning English for the first time.

This training is for schools who have the Talkboost Key Stage 1 intervention kit or those who plan to buy the kit.  

It is preferable to have the kit for the training, to maximise the benefit of the workshop but you may attend the workshop without the kit.

This training is for teachers working in primary schools in Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary only. Please note due to the high demand for places, registration is limited to 2 teachers per school. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your place as soon as possible so it can be offered to someone else.
