Hunt Museum Resources - Art of Reading in the Middle Ages (ARMA)

The Hunt Museum has produced 6 learning scenarios, three for primary level and three for post primary level. (Learning scenarios are similar to lesson plans).

These are accompanied by videos, creative arts activities and even a game called Reading Aloud.

The learning scenario format is used because these resources will also be featured on Europeana Classroom and this is the format that they require.

The schedule for sharing the resources is as follows:

Hunt Museum to share Primary school resources (x 3) on social media:

Tuesday May 17 – Inks and Dyes

Wednesday May 18 - Calligraphy programme

Thursday May 19- Reading Aloud

Hunt Museum to share Post Primary resources ( x3) on social media:

Wednesday May 25 – Graphic Design programme

Thursday May 26 – Making Medieval Manuscripts

These resources have also been uploaded to Scoilnet Primary and Scoilnet Post Primary and that they will be making collection pages on their website.
