 This workshop will cover:

  • Behaviours of Concern – what are they? We examine possible stressors, our supporting role and the school environment
  • Gathering Information on Behaviour – The Behaviour checklist, how to analyse data collected and the use of ABC recording to inform targets and strategies
  • Strategies – a bank of strategies focusing on preventative interventions and reactive methodologies ( resource provided)
  • The Behaviour Plan – the process and exemplars. Template provided.
  • Best Practice – highlight of the current national advice and documentation

Facilitator bio:

Samantha is an experiences primary school teacher and former advisor with the SESS & NCSE, supperting schools & providing teacher CPD for over 10 years. Samantha also works as a School Placement Tutor. (B.ED, PGSEN ASD, M.A. SEN)
