Someone once said, “Expectation is the root of all heartache.” Disappointment happens when our expectations don't match with reality. When disappointment arises we have three broad choices - we can learn and become better and stronger. Or we can feel broken in varying degrees or even bitter. Having insights and strategies at your fingertips to handle disappointment and to be able to support others to do the same is a key life-skill - particularly in a world of constant increasingly rapd change and uncertainty.
