ITEN – CPD in your own time at your own pace!

Limerick Education Support Centre, as part of a collaboration with the Education Support Centres in Kilkenny, Waterford, Wexford, Cork, West Cork & Blackrock, brings you an Innovative Teaching and Education Network - ITEN, a platform designed to support CPD for teachers, SNAs an other school personnel across Ireland. ITEN aims to enhance and complement the existing support systems provided by our Education Support Centre. Limerick Education Support Centre is proud to be part of this collaboration and we invite you to explore ITEN at ITEN Home Page

What is ITEN.ie?

ITEN.ie is a flexible, collaborative platform tailored to the needs of busy school personnel. It adds a valuable new dimension to the support available for educators, aligning with national education priorities such as those outlined in the LAOS 2022 framework. ITEN focuses on bringing professional development into the digital age. It is particularly beneficial for schools in remote areas or smaller schools, where access to in-person training and support might be limited, and to those who have busy lives and find it difficult to commit to a particular time.

Increasingly, schools are using ITEN for courses for SNAs and school secretaries on the days that schools are closed for Primary Curriculum Framework training and Senior Cycle Cluster days.
