What is ITEN.ie?
ITEN.ie is a flexible, collaborative platform tailored to the needs of busy school personnel. It adds a valuable new dimension to the support available for educators, aligning with national education priorities such as those outlined in the LAOS 2022 framework. ITEN focuses on bringing professional development into the digital age. It is particularly beneficial for schools in remote areas or smaller schools, where access to in-person training and support might be limited, and to those who have busy lives and find it difficult to commit to a particular time.
Increasingly, schools are using ITEN for courses for SNAs and school secretaries on the days that schools are closed for Primary Curriculum Framework training and Senior Cycle Cluster days.

Key Features of ITEN.ie:
- In your own time, at your own pace: You can do these courses anytime, save, exit and pick up later,
- Diverse Resources: From video tutorials to interactive modules, to additional teaching resources, find the support and information you need in a format that suits you best.
- Innovation and Inclusivity: Designed to be accessible and user-friendly, ensuring all users, regardless of location or technical expertise, can benefit from its offerings.
- Certification: On completion of a course, you will receive a Certificate for your CP file and which you can present to your Principal.
